1945 Sam Walton graduated from college and joined a JCPenny program taught by mister Jc Penny Himself. And Throughout the whole program, he focused on one thing to exceed through the program. In this part of the book, he connects some of his rules to his life. He was committed and focused on exceeding in the program offered by Mr.JcPenny.
Throughout the book, he also talked about the importance of celebrating wins. He tended to celebrate with employees on small and big wins of Walmart. Another thing he was huge on was on sharing the profits with employees. This is why the employees of Walmart are called associates because he did not see them as customers but as associates.
The book had many business lessons making Made in America is a must-read business book.
