One Giant nugget of gold. When reading books, I tend to make notes and highlight critical essential things. But this is one of the few books where I felt like I wanted to highlight everything. That is why I call this book a giant golden nugget. This book has no single thing that defines it.
Key Notes:
“We all make our own breaks, and at the end of the day, we are exactly where we choose to be”
Let this one sink in for a minute and try to think what this quote is honestly saying. This is one of those quotes where it can change depending on where you are in life; if you are successful in your definition of success, you will probably just thank yourself. On the other hand, if you are not in a good spot, your first instinct might blame someone else for your failure or look for an excuse. Just know no matter if things are going well or bad, it is your fault, and you made a choice today.
“There is a difference between being interested and being committed.”
When working on a new project, we are just interested in the possibilities of what it may bring. When the project gets difficult or tedious, we tend not to be as interested as we might have been before. This is the Importance of being committed to the work you are working on because when you are fully committed to what you are working on and stop at nothing.
